Just past five, the light across our Cotroceni salon softens into warm amber. Across a table draped in raw linen lie freshwater baroque pearls of unrepeatable contour, spun natural silk, and gold-plated brass clasps.

Far removed from dense conventional bouquets, architectural floral design looks for the quiet tension between a curved branch, a deep burgundy calla lily, and the space left empty around them.

Mineral gouache and watercolor take on a velvety depth when laid across cold-press cotton paper. Rather than rigid botanical illustration, we explore fluid gesture, washes of colour, and tonal balance.
