Olfactory Evening: Vetiver, Amber & Auteur Wines
A sensory exploration of botanical perfumery and the dialogue between woody resins, spices, and aged red wines.
Scent and taste share the same vocabulary of memory. On a December evening lit by raw beeswax candles, we explore twenty niche perfumery absolutes and compose a personal botanical oil or interior scent.
Guided by an independent perfumer and a guest sommelier, we trace the architecture of fragrance—from bright top notes of bergamot and pink pepper to a heart of Damask rose and a base of vetiver, sandalwood, and amber.
Each olfactory chapter is paired with a small-producer European wine selected to echo the same aromatic notes.
You conclude the evening by formulating and bottling your own 30 ml amber apothecary flacon with a custom label.
